Bio

I moved to Madison from Seattle in 2006 to go back to school after a long time out. I'm in a Ph.D. program in psychology, doing functional brain imaging research. When I left Seattle I started this journal to help keep the folks back home illuminated regarding my peregrinations, but since I've settled in here it has become also a repository for my thoughts and writings. I write about science, and about spirituality, and occasionally other things I might feel like writing about. Someday I might put some thought into making this a bit more thematic, if I start to feel like a wider audience might potentially be interested.
